Linux Foundation unveils 'DNS-AID'... implements DNS for AI agents

The Linux Foundation has unveiled DNS-AID, an open-source project for registering and discovering AI agents and MCP servers via DNS.

Originally developed by Infoblox, DNS-AID includes a Python SDK, CLI, and MCP server support.

The project aims to improve agent interoperability across platforms without vendor lock-in.

By using DNS as a decentralized discovery layer, it could give AI agents a standard way to find and connect with each other.
