SoftBank begins offering an advanced cloud platform specialized for AI

SoftBank will launch its new AI-focused cloud platform, “AI Data Center GPU Cloud,” in October as part of its neocloud business.

A beta version started on May 25, and the service is already being used internally.

The platform includes a software stack for AI data centers and is designed to support both training and inference.

It uses NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 and related services such as KaaS and Inf-aaS to strengthen SoftBank’s enterprise AI infrastructure offering.
