watchOS 26 added hypertension alerts for Apple Watch, here’s how to use them

Apple has added hypertension detection notifications in watchOS 26 for supported Apple Watch models.

The feature works on Apple Watch Series 9 and later, including Ultra 2 and Ultra 3, and requires an iPhone 11 or newer running iOS 26.

Users must enable it in the Health app, and Apple uses 30 days of sensor data before sending possible hypertension alerts.

The update broadens Apple’s health features while clarifying device compatibility and setup requirements.
