Mario Kart World 1.6.0 Update Adds Bob-omb Blast Battle Mode

Nintendo released a 1.6.0 update for Mario Kart World that adds the Bob-omb Blast battle mode.

The new mode uses up to 10 bob-ombs to pop opponents' balloons, and Switch 2 players can adjust throw distance with the L button.

The update rebalanced items: Bullet Bill was strengthened on some tracks while Boomerang range and throws were reduced.

Race systems were tweaked, including weight-based invincibility time and improved shell warning indicators.

The patch also shortens online roulette time and includes 35 bug fixes.
