Alibaba Health Unveils Medical AI 'Hydrogen Ion' and Forges Exclusive Partnership with UK's BMJ Group

Alibaba Health launched Hydrogen Ion in Hangzhou, a medical AI platform aimed at giving Chinese doctors faster access to clinical knowledge.

The company also announced an exclusive licensing deal with BMJ Group for more than 70 journals and multimedia resources on the platform.

The partnership is intended to strengthen evidence-based medical AI by grounding responses in trusted international literature.

Alibaba Health said it will work on expert-guided AI standards and expand partnerships with other global medical publishers.
