Xiaomi 17T Series Brings Bigger Batteries And More Leica Magic

Xiaomi launched the 17T and 17T Pro, two upper mid-range phones with Leica-tuned camera systems and unusually large batteries.

Both models feature a 50MP main camera, a 5x telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultrawide camera, while the Pro gets a larger 1/1.3-inch sensor.

Xiaomi also added a new Leica Live Moment feature for motion photos, aiming to bring more flagship-like imaging to the lineup.

Early impressions say the cameras excel at portraits, dynamic range, and filters, though the ultrawide and selfie cameras are less compelling.
