Beijing Auto Show: China Raises Its Winning Game

At the Beijing Auto Show, Chinese automakers unveiled larger, more premium EVs and hybrids packed with advanced technology.

Brands including XPeng, BYD, Leapmotor/Stellantis, Chery, MG, Nissan, NIO and Zeekr showcased models built around smart cockpit and driver-assistance features.

The industry is shifting from competing mainly on batteries and charging to intelligent vehicle software and higher-end design.

China is also targeting major overseas production growth, especially in Europe and Latin America, to expand its global reach.
