Apple Launches Tap to Pay on iPhone in Malaysia

Apple has launched Tap to Pay on iPhone in Malaysia, allowing merchants to accept contactless payments directly on an iPhone without extra hardware.

Local payment platforms including ADAPTIS, Fiuu, HitPay, Stripe, and Zoho are enabling merchant adoption of the feature.

The rollout gives Malaysian businesses a cheaper, simpler way to accept card and digital wallet payments.

It expands Apple’s contactless payment footprint in Malaysia and strengthens the iPhone as a merchant payment terminal.
