Ikea and Samsung promise glitch-free SmartThings integration

Samsung says SmartThings now has improved support for Ikea’s Matter-over-Thread smart home devices.

The company added device-specific integrations, tested connectivity, and built a dedicated SmartThings experience for those products.

That could reduce pairing and reliability issues, making Ikea devices easier to use inside Samsung’s home automation ecosystem.

It also underscores that Matter interoperability still has some friction in practice.
