Weather Replay is a free browser tool that lets users replay historical weather anywhere on Earth from 1940 to today.

Built on Copernicus Climate Change Service and ECMWF data, it uses ERA5 reanalysis to animate temperature, wind, rain, pressure, and more.

Users can choose a place, date, and hour, then compare two moments in time to explore past conditions and climate change.

The tool makes decades of atmospheric data easier to access for journalists, researchers, and the public without specialized software.
