The Orion spacecraft carried four crew members on this crewed flight.

NASA officially allowed astronauts to use a smartphone on this mission—the first such case, per NASA.

The iPhone was brought for photo and video; it was modified to disable internet, Bluetooth, games, and app launches.

Two Nikon D5 cameras and four GoPro Hero 11 cameras were also used; photographing from the spacecraft is one mission objective.
