A jury rejected Elon Musk’s lawsuit over OpenAI’s move from nonprofit to for-profit status.

The jury and Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers said the case failed on timing grounds, ending the suit for now.

The ruling removes a major legal threat to OpenAI and lets it keep pursuing its business plan and possible IPO.

Musk may still appeal the decision.
