Anthropic tests new Bugcrawl tool for Claude Code

Anthropic appears to be testing a hidden “Bugcrawl” feature in Claude Code.

The tool includes a repository picker and warns about high token usage, suggesting whole-codebase scanning.

Bugcrawl is aimed at finding bugs and recommending fixes, with possible future use in end-to-end product testing.

The feature is not in production yet, and no release date has been announced.

If launched, it could expand Claude Code beyond security and review into broader automated testing, raising competition in AI coding agents.
