Android 17 QPR1 Beta 3 is here, and it’s all about the boring fixes you actually wanted

Google quietly rolled out Android 17 QPR1 Beta 3 for enrolled Pixel users during I/O 2026.

The beta expands blur and translucency, adds a bounce-back Quick Settings animation, and makes screen recording remember the last selected app.

It also includes stability improvements and bug fixes.

The update is expected to land in the September Feature Drop for supported devices.
