Spring Airlines apologized after an air-conditioning failure on a Pudong Airport apron shuttle bus left some passengers feeling uncomfortably hot.

The airline said the vehicle’s AC was working normally before departure, but the cabin temperature rose sharply within about five minutes.

The driver tried restarting the system and reported the fault immediately; the airline later inspected all shuttle bus AC systems.

The incident highlights the importance of ground transport safety, maintenance, and emergency response in high-temperature conditions.
