"I can read it, but I don't know what it means"... SKT launches literacy education with AI

SK Telecom is supporting literacy education by providing its edtech solution, AI Picture Diary, to the Ministry of Education’s Digital Sprout program.

The tool turns students’ written content into scenes, images, and voice narration to help improve reading, writing, and expression skills.

It also includes teacher management features and workbooks, and a course for students in special education is planned for the second semester.

The effort combines generative AI with digital tools to help narrow AI education gaps across regions and school settings.
