Intel's upcoming LGA 1954 socket reportedly supports Nova Lake, Razor Lake, and possibly beyond

Intel’s upcoming LGA 1954 socket is reportedly set to support Nova Lake and Razor Lake, according to a leak from Jaykihn.

The socket may also handle another future CPU generation if motherboard makers use a 64MB BIOS flash chip.

Intel has signaled longer socket lifespans, and LGA 1954 is expected to debut with Nova Lake.

If accurate, this could let users keep one motherboard across more CPU upgrades, closer to AMD’s AM5 model.
