Researchers found Rowhammer techniques can now target GDDR GPU memory, affecting NVIDIA Ampere cards.

An unprivileged CUDA kernel can corrupt GPU page tables to obtain arbitrary GPU memory read/write.

Attackers can chain GPU memory access into CPU privilege escalation by exploiting driver memory‑safety bugs.

The chained exploit can achieve system‑wide compromise, including a root shell, without disabling IOMMU.
