Magic's Final Fantasy crossover almost had a busted version of one mechanic

A Magic: The Gathering designer said a Final Fantasy Tactics Ramza card was considered with Job Select on every Equipment.

Daniel Holt said the idea would likely have been busted because it effectively bypasses equip costs and could snowball into a dominant board state.
