“If I were chased by something like this…” A demo video of a Chinese wheeled quadruped robot that easily races up steep slopes goes viral, with a top speed of over 20 km/h

Unitree Robotics drew attention with demo videos of its wheel-legged quadruped AS2-W tackling rocks, steps, steep slopes, and even flips.

The robot reportedly reaches speeds above 21.6 km/h and can handle obstacles up to 80 cm tall and slopes up to 45 degrees.

AS2-W is also said to support cargo carrying and autonomous following, highlighting practical use cases beyond entertainment.

The showcase underscores progress in robots that combine rough-terrain mobility with fast travel for security and inspection tasks.
