Meta's new LLM, Muse Spark, wants to take its AI into a 'people first' era

Meta has launched Muse Spark, a new large language model from Superintelligence Labs to power Meta AI.

The rollout starts in the Meta AI app and on meta.ai in the U.S., with Instant and Thinking modes.

Meta says the model brings a more personal, faster, multimodal assistant experience.

It can help with photo-based tasks, shopping recommendations, travel planning, and health queries using multiple subagents.

Support for Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Messenger, and AI glasses is expected later.
