Samsung launches Windows AI browser with Perplexity

Samsung released Samsung Browser for Windows, available on devices running Windows 11 and Windows 10 (version 1809 or later).

It partners with Perplexity to embed an in‑browser AI assistant that supports natural‑language search and understands page and multi‑tab context to compare, summarize, and search history.

Video features let users search for a scene and begin playback from that point; the assistant can also generate items like a four‑day itinerary from travel pages.

Sync covers bookmarks and browsing history and adds the ability to continue viewing the same page across devices; PC installs of Samsung Continuity Service and Galaxy Connect are required.

Currently supported on Samsung Galaxy Book 3–6 series with expanded device and market availability planned; Samsung Pass integration and region-dependent feature availability apply, and agent‑style AI is supported on Windows and Android in Korea and the U.S.
