MSI demonstrated the MEG X870E Unify-X MAX booting 128 GB of dual-rank DDR5 at 9400 MT/s with a Ryzen 5 9600X.

The feat used an upcoming BIOS and AGESA 1.3.0.0, highlighting stronger memory headroom on AMD AM5.

MSI said future Ryzen CPUs may unlock even better high-capacity DDR5 overclocking.
