Android’s new sideloading delay won’t be as frustrating as you feared

Google introduced an advanced sideloading flow that adds a 24-hour delay before installing unregistered apps.

Android Developers said the advanced flow only needs to be enabled once per account and carries to new devices.

ADB is the only way to bypass the initial 24-hour delay and requires a PC.

Developer options must be enabled to turn on the advanced flow but can be disabled afterward without affecting sideloading.
