Heguang Quantum raised a seed round and said it has made progress on deterministic generation of photonic quantum error-correction resources.

The company is developing a pluggable nonlinear hardware module for GKP-code resources and building modular photonic systems linked by optical fiber.

It has started kilometer-scale distributed task verification, aiming to scale beyond the limits of single-machine quantum setups.

Planned products include the HQ10 quantum accelerator, the HA100 full system, and the HC scheduling platform.
