Apple’s accessibility features add more AI-powered processing

Apple is expanding accessibility tools across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Vision Pro with a new wave of features arriving later this year.

The update leans more on on-device AI, with enhancements to VoiceOver, Magnifier, Voice Control, Accessibility Reader, and speech recognition for uncaptioned videos.

Vision Pro is getting support for wheelchair drive systems and motion-sickness reduction, while other additions include Image Explorer, FaceTime sign language improvements, and more.
