Google’s 3D emoji glow-up puts Apple's to shame

Google introduced Noto 3D, a new 3D-styled emoji set with added depth and physicality.

The redesign covers roughly 4,000 emojis and was unveiled during The Android Show.

Pixel phones will get the new look first, with a wider rollout to other Google products to follow.

The update makes Google’s emoji more expressive and more visually distinct from Apple’s designs.
