Dragon Quest 12: Beyond Dreams gets a new trailer and a new look

Square Enix debuted the first new Dragon Quest 12 footage since 2021 during a 40th-anniversary livestream.

The game now carries the subtitle Beyond Dreams, and the publisher says development was restarted after team changes.

Square Enix says the new version is aiming for a more traditional, upbeat Dragon Quest feel.

No release date or launch window was announced, extending the wait for fans.
