"Not a single yen has been remitted" — New unremitted funds issue at crowdfunding platform Ubugoe, heading to a criminal complaint

On crowdfunding site Ubgoe, about ¥10.93 million raised for the game project "Purgatory Blue" was not transferred on the scheduled date.

The project operator, Neonlight, has consulted police and is preparing a criminal complaint for alleged embezzlement in the course of business.

Similar non-transfer issues have surfaced in multiple projects, raising serious concerns about fund management and trust in crowdfunding operators.
