Siri Gets Smarter: Apple Taps Multiple Chatbots for AI Upgrade

Apple is connecting Siri with multiple third-party chatbots, bloomberg reported citing unnamed Apple employees.

Chatbots The chatbots include Gemini, Claude and ChatGPT, named examples include Google's Gemini, Anthropic's Claude and OpenAI's ChatGPT.

Siri Extensions Siri will support connections to chatbots through Extensions users can enable, the integrations will be available via Extensions that users enable.

Siri users Users will specify the chatbot Siri should use during a request, users would specify which chatbot to use when interacting with Siri.
