The Galaxy S26 Ultra is a stunner, but it’s two-year old sibling is still kicking it just fine for me

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S26 series, including the S26 Ultra with a Privacy Display and a new Qualcomm chip.

The S26 Ultra upgrades the ultra-wide camera from 12MP to 50MP and improves thermal management.

In side-by-side tests, the two-year-old Galaxy S24 Ultra performed similarly for everyday tasks and kept good battery life.

For typical daily use, the S24 Ultra remains sufficient, making the S26 Ultra a less compelling immediate upgrade.
