Qwen Introduces Qwen3.7-Max: A Reasoning Agent Model With a 1M-Token Context Window

Alibaba officially launched Qwen3.7-Max at the Alibaba Cloud Summit after preview builds had already surfaced on public leaderboards.

The text-only model supports extended-thinking reasoning and a 1M-token context window for long document and code workflows.

It ranked fifth on Artificial Analysis’s Intelligence Index and improved on its predecessor in scientific reasoning, agentic ability, and coding.

The release shows Alibaba pushing harder into high-end agentic AI for complex, multi-step tasks.
