AMD Will Bring Its Next-Generation FSR 4.1 Upscaling Tech To Older GPUs

AMD says FSR 4.1 will expand beyond Radeon RX 9000 cards to RDNA 3 GPUs in July, with RDNA 2 support slated for early 2027.

The company says it optimized the AI upscaling model for older hardware and tested it across a wide range of PC configurations.

AMD expects FSR 4.1 to be available in more than 300 games at launch, broadening access to its latest image-quality and performance tech.
