Navantia UK unveils 1,000-ton uncrewed warship concept for hybrid fleets of future

Navantia UK unveiled LASV75, a 75-meter autonomous surface vessel concept at the Combined Naval Event in Farnborough.

The uncrewed warship is designed for modular mission payloads and roles including surveillance, escort, electronic warfare, and strike support.

With no crew accommodations, LASV75 highlights the push toward long-endurance, scalable ships for hybrid crewed-uncrewed fleets.

The concept also aligns with Navantia UK’s wider shipyard expansion and rising demand for large autonomous naval platforms.
