‘Project Hail Mary’ becomes Amazon MGM’s biggest box office hit

Project Hail Mary has become Amazon MGM's highest grossing film after surpassing Creed III.

After 10 days it has earned an estimated $164.3 million domestically and $136.2 million overseas.

The film had a reported budget of about $200 million and fell 32% in its second weekend to $54.5 million.

Amazon MGM says the film's opening supports its strategy to produce big commercial theatrical releases and has more titles scheduled later this year.
