Samsung TVs are getting a free upgrade that makes casting much easier

Samsung is rolling out a free update that brings native Google Cast support to select 2023 and 2024 TVs.

The update lets users cast from Android phones, tablets, or the Chrome browser without a Chromecast.

A Reddit report showed an S90D OLED indicating Google Cast, but Samsung has not officially announced the rollout.

Availability and supported models are unclear and the update may take weeks to reach devices by region.
