US Army to equip combat vehicles with APS systems to enhance survivability

BAE Systems won a U.S. Army contract to supply soft-kill active protection systems for combat vehicles.

The award also funds further development of the Stormcrow and Terra Raven countermeasure systems.

BAE will deliver prototypes for integration and testing on Army vehicles, including the ROOK platform.

The effort is meant to speed up defenses against missiles and drone threats and improve crew survivability.
