Pentagon taps US firm for coordinated attack by intelligent, low-cost drone swarms

The Pentagon picked Shield AI to integrate Hivemind into the LUCAS low-cost attack drone program.

A fall demo is planned in which one operator will coordinate multiple autonomous drones for a coordinated strike.

The effort is designed to deliver affordable drone mass with less human workload.

It also aims to work in contested, jammed, or communications-denied environments.
