Spotify Is Launching Verification Badges for Podcasts to Help Listeners Avoid AI Slop

Spotify is rolling out “Verified by Spotify” badges and green checkmarks for podcasts.

The badges help listeners identify authentic shows and reduce AI-generated impersonation.

Spotify has also removed some impersonating shows from the platform.

The rollout will expand across more than 7 million podcast titles over the coming months.
