Photon launched Spectrum, an open-source TypeScript SDK and cloud platform for AI agents.

It lets developers connect agents to iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Discord, Instagram, phone, and other channels through one unified interface.

Spectrum adds type-safe message handling, custom providers, and edge-based infrastructure with sub-second latency targets and 99.9% uptime.

The goal is to make AI agents usable inside mainstream messaging apps while reducing integration complexity and improving production reliability.
