ISS astronauts are getting new laptops

NASA is upgrading the ISS crew’s onboard computers, replacing older servers and HP ZBook Fury G2 laptops.

The station is moving to HP ZBook G9 mobile workstations, customized for space with special power adapters and high-end components.

The refresh updates critical astronaut computing systems on Expedition 74 and supports daily operations in microgravity.

It also highlights how commercial hardware is adapted for long-duration space use before the ISS is eventually retired.
