The iPhone 18 Pro Max Camera Upgrade You Didn’t Expect

A new report says the iPhone 18 Pro Max could get a 48MP main camera with mechanical variable aperture, plus triple 48MP rear cameras and a 24MP selfie camera.

The phone is also rumored to pack a larger 5,100–5,200mAh battery, an A20 Pro chip, and Apple’s first custom C2 5G modem.

Other expected changes include a smaller Dynamic Island and LTPO+ OLED display improvements, while the price may stay at $1,199.

If true, the upgrades would improve low-light photos, battery life, and Apple’s move toward more in-house hardware.
