iOS 26 upgraded one of Apple’s best Home Screen widgets in two ways

Apple is updating the iPhone Photos Home Screen widget in iOS 26 with two new options.

A new Spatial Scene Effect adds depth and motion to photos in the widget.

There is also an Always Display in Full Color setting for Clear and Tinted Home Screen styles.

The change makes the widget more dynamic while preserving original photo colors on customized Home Screens.
