Redwood Materials loses COO amid layoffs, restructuring

Redwood Materials said COO Chris Lister is retiring as the company continues a broader restructuring.

The battery recycling and materials firm has cut about 135 jobs, or roughly 10% of staff.

Several senior leaders have also left in recent months, adding to executive turnover under CEO JB Straubel.

The changes suggest Redwood is tightening operations while shifting more focus toward energy storage.
