Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 8 Gets the Cover Screen Right — for a Price

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip 8 at Unpacked with a $1,200 starting price.

It keeps most of the previous model’s hardware but is lighter and thinner, running Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy.

Cover-screen software is more useful now, with simpler app access and a new recent-apps shortcut.

The phone adds camera features from the Galaxy S26 line, plus My Fan Cam and Super Steady, and goes on sale Aug. 7.
