Lawson offers food at half price through food waste reduction apps, introduces "Too Good To Go" and "TABETE"

Lawson will start selling near-expiry foods at two Tokyo stores through Too Good To Go and TABETE from May 11.

The items include onigiri, bakery goods, and desserts recommended for discounts by AI.

Prices will be set at half price or lower, aiming to reduce food waste and test anti-waste measures in real stores.
