Youtuber tests 3D printed rocket engine with hidden cooling channels inside walls

YouTuber Mr. More Gooder tested several 3D printed plastic rocket engines with internal water-cooling channels.

Early versions failed quickly, but the water-cooled designs survived combustion longer and better protected the chamber and nozzle.

The final version still ran into a leak, and the flame eventually went out.

The experiment shows regenerative cooling can extend the life of plastic rocket parts, but leaks, weak heat transfer, and weight remain major hurdles.
