Night cruises in the Tokyo Bay Hamamatsucho–Takeshiba area; JR East, Tokyu, Nomura and others collaborate

Four companies will launch a night cruise linking Hamamatsucho, Takeshiba, and Shibaura every Friday from Aug. 28 through Sept. 25.

The program offers two cruise types with music and food and beverage options, aiming to boost nighttime stays and circulation through local venues and shops.

The initiative uses the waterfront to promote night tourism and create more buzz in the Hamamatsucho-Takeshiba-Shibaura area.

It is a cross-sector effort by developers and a railway company to strengthen area connectivity and extend visitors’ time in the district.
