Gmail, Drive, and other Google apps are getting a major icon redesign

Google is preparing a new gradient-based icon set for several Workspace apps, including Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Slides, and Meet.

The redesign moves away from using all four Google colors in every icon, making some apps look more color-specific.

The updated icons are not yet available to users.

The change suggests Google is continuing to unify Workspace branding around a newer visual style.
