AMD Unveils the $329 Ryzen 7 7700X3D, Brings Back the 5800X3D for $349

AMD launched two lower-cost 3D V-Cache gaming CPUs at Computex 2026: the Ryzen 7 7700X3D for AM5 and a revived Ryzen 7 5800X3D for AM4.

The 7700X3D has 8 cores, 16 threads, 104MB of cache, a 120W TDP, and boosts up to 4.5GHz. It goes on sale July 16 for $329.

The AM4-only 5800X3D anniversary edition offers 100MB of cache, a 105W TDP, and a 4.5GHz boost clock, and arrives June 25 for $349.

The move gives gamers cheaper access to AMD’s 3D V-Cache performance and offers AM4 users a simple drop-in upgrade without needing a new motherboard or DDR5.
